Kingswood Academy rated good by Ofsted – Feb 2018

Great news to hear that Kingswood Academy has been rated Good in all areas by Ofsted.

Ofsted inspectors visited the Academy just before the February half term break, after a lot of hard work and committment from the staff, governors, students and parents, the Academy is now on track to continue to reach its full potential of becoming an ‘outstanding’ academy.

Ofsted praised the academy for the quality of its teaching, the behaviour of its pupils and for the ‘passionate and determined leadership’ shown by the principal.

Dale Jackson, the academy’s principal, said “We are delighted with Ofsted’s ‘good in all categories’ judgement.

I would like to assure parents and the wider community, that the leadership team and I will not be complacent or satisfied until Kingswood Academy is truly ‘outstanding’.”
