A Decision Record is currently being drafted which will be sent out for comments shortly. Once they’ve been given permission to proceed, the contractor will be able to return to site within a few days of the instruction to return.
The estimated duration is approximately 2 and a half months from the date the contractor returns to site. The duration is longer than expected due to the need to construct the protective concrete slab in two halves to allow pedestrian movements to continue over the bridge at all times.
Thank you to Councillor Mark Bisbey for the update.

Lets hope its fully functional in September at the moment trafic is less at rush hour this time of the year but from September to April its horrendous around kingswood and will only become worse as all these extra houses are built .What is the council doing about the trafic it seems they let builders build more houses when no road infrastructure is in place to handle the extra trafic
